Catching Up!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while. Let me catch you up an what's been going on.

Nellie is doing great. Today, we took her to a baseball game. My 10 year old, Lucas, is on the Bangor Lions Little League team. Its playoffs time. We took mom to his game today. She got to watch the Lions win 11-5. Lucas got a hit and scored a run. Also, the PA announcer said, during the third inning, "Ladies and Gentlemen, let's give a warm welcome to Nellie Burt, the Grandmother of Lucas Burt!" The crowd went wild...

She sat behind home plate and watched the whole game. I caught a foul ball. Pictures below...

 Yes, It was cool enough for a jacket... it's only June, and we are in Maine!

Connie sent a new door decoration for mom. It came without getting damaged. Nellie loves it! Thanks, Connie! We both loved her letter, especially the George Carlin thing about getting older. Very funny and very true!
