Sunday DInner

Just a quick note...

 I came by and had a great Dinner with mom. It's sunny and 70 degrees in Maine. Winter is over, which means it could snow any day...

Mom had a great day. She watched a great tennis match, had dinner with me and sat outside in the sun!

One More...

This one is especially sweet. On mom's writing desk are 4 small pictures:

L to R: 1) Her parents, Lee and Callie; 2) Bob and Bobbie, having a nice time out in Florida during a visit; 3) the Burt and Hertlein kids, with popsicles in 1959. I am one of them in diapers.... and 4) Mom and her sisters, Jean and Mary Alice.

The last box of pictures from Florida came and today I hung the last ones. Mom wanted to save Justin's portrait of mom's children on the spot above her bed, and the Star Registry from Dana right next to it.

Well, she ours now!  Dana and Gerri took off this morning, just before the big snowstorm hit.

Today mom loved sitting at her window, watching the snow come down. Marisa came by in the morning and mom told her she went to the Morning Devotionals, and was thrilled that they sang her favorite Hymn, "Trust and Obey". Later the Podiatrist came and tended her feet.

Mom is getting into having people help her and do things for her: "My lands, I'm so pampered! They came in and made my bed during breakfast!" Also, she has a weekly appointment for a whirlpool! That will help her legs.
